During this UNIQUE EXPERIENCE we vow to make you feel like a LOCAL! Away from the CROWDS and typical touristic spots, we'll guide you through the WONDERS of Sintra, often described as a fairy tale!!
We begin by heading to the HISTORICAL village of SINTRA! Although the Pena Palace is wonderful, we want you to take in the wonders of the NATURAL PARK.
If you wish to see the Pena we will not stop you!
Next up local gourmet shop called "Casa Piriquita" and try the famous Queijada de Sintra and Travesseiros - a dessert made of puff pastry with a filling of almond cream. A perfect breakfast in the perfect SPOT!
Come and discover the most mystical part of SINTRA that is QUINTA DA REGALEIRA. Here you shall have 1:30 for your OWN to EXPLORE this magical place!
Have lunch at a typical PORTUGUESE RESTAURANT few would be able to discover!
Heading back we'll go deep into the mountains before stopping at Cabo da Roca, Europe's Westernmost Point!
Next we head for Historical Sintra. Here our guests will be given the freedom to stroll through the town and purchase lunch (at their own expense). Once reconvened with our guide we stop at a local gourmet shop to try out the local famous "Queijdas de Sintra". Our next stop is at "Casa Piriquita". A landmark in Sintra, the Piriquita is famous for its travesseiros - a dessert made of puff pastry with a filling of almond cream.
Moving forward we have the stunning Quinta da Regaleira. This yet another UNESCO-listed site has anciently carved buildings, incredible gardens and a gothic breeze that will enchant anyone who dares to enter. We will just be passing by on our wait to Cabo da Roca, Europe's Westernmost Point.
We'll pass by Monserrate Palace as well, on our way to Cabo da Roca.
Heading back we'll stop at Cabo da Roca, Europe's Westernmost Point. Enjoy some free time to stroll around and take wonderful pictures under the sun.
Our trip ends with a brief visit to the Hell's Mouth (Boca do Inferno) and Cascais - a coastal town where many Portuguese Royal Families vacationed in the past. We would not consider this trip a success if you didn’t experience the coastal splendor of Cascais.
