We'll start by visiting the ancient Roman Ruins of Conímbriga, and its Museum. Conímbriga is one of the largest Roman settlements excavated in Portugal, and was classified as a National Monument in 1910.

Through a guided visit of the University of Coimbra, learn its long history and gather its ancient knowledge. Established in 1290 by King Dinis, it is the oldest in the country and second oldest in the Iberian Peninsula.

After lunch, you'll get to visit the Old Cathedral of Coimbra, and the ancient Monastery of Santa Clara-a-Velha!

Conímbriga is one of the largest Roman settlements excavated in Portugal, and was classified as a National Monument in 1910. Located in the civil parish of Condeixa-a-Velha e Condeixa-a-Nova, in the municipality of Condeixa-a-Nova, it is situated 2 kilometres from the municipal seat and 16 kilometres from Coimbra.

The ruins of the Monastery of Santa Clara-a-Velha are located in the city of Coimbra, in Portugal. The monastery was built in the 14th century on the left bank of the Mondego River, but had to be abandoned in the 17th century due to frequent floods.
