About this experience

Approach, observe and admire landscapes of Untouched Sand Dunes which lie in Naglių strict nature sanctuary at Curonian spit which is listed as UNESCO world heritage site.

Your local guide will lead you in a small group of canoe paddlers 9 km along array of the biggest and highest dunes in Europe, where walking is forbidden.

You will observe the wildlife from close distance without disturbing it. In wind favoured conditions you might get lucky to admire Sea Eagles which love to use thermal winds comming up from the land.

Detailed itinerary

After meeting you we will speak about Curonian spit, Pervalka village and have instructions on canoeing. Having launched canoes we will paddle towards Pervalka Lighthouse which local people call "Red man".

You will explore the unforgetable nature of Curonian spot National park - Curonian lagoon shores, unforgettable Sand dunes, which strech almost 10 km

Picnic in the middle of the tour

You will observe one of the biggest in the Eastern Europe bird colonies slowly paddling your canoe. If we will be lucky we will observe thousands of Great Cormorants and some Grey Herons.

We will finish our canoe adventure in picturesque Juodkrantė and drive back to Pervalka where we started.
