Pokhara- Dhampus Trek is a moderate trek but those who wants to explore some new places around the Pokhara can visit Dhampus through Hiking. The trekking trail passes through villages, terraced farms and green forests till reaching to the designed area ‘Dhampus’. Once reaching Dhampus you can feel the closeness with white Mountains. As they are supposing to greet you.
The sunset and sunrise views over the Himalayas are also equally mesmerizing from Dhampus.
Besides great mountain views, hikers also get to witness of simplicity and beautiful countryside of Nepal.You can observe their daily life, their tradition, culture and the warm respect toward the visitors.
Dhampus is also the gateway to the Annapurna Conservation Area and also the entry points for the trek to the Annapurna Base Camp.Trek starts from Pokhara and goes for about 2 hours of continuous climbing up till Dhampus. You can watch the sunset and sun raise much closer than from other place.
