Looking for wild plants and mushrooms in the wilderness is more fun than you think. Learn the basics of foraging from a passionate guide. Together, you will discover what to avoid, what you can pick and what you must not touch.
Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation and together, you will go in the forests around Brasov in search for wild mushrooms, plants and forest fruits. Hiking and foraging isn't easy, depending on the terrain, so keep in mind that you have to be fit in order to walk around the forest, sometimes on steep terrain, loose rocks or mud.
Depending on your schedule, the tour can take between three to six hours. You will decide when you want to stop, together with your guide.
In the end, you will be dropped off at your accommodation.
Please note that your guide will not recommend eating mushrooms. If you decide to cook them, he is not responsible if you get intoxicated. However, he will give you advice about what is good for picking and what is not.
