The morning will take us to Bran Castle where the legend of Count Dracula is kept alive all year round. Built in the 13th Century, Bran Castle is an intriguing hilltop fortress, and one of the most famous landmarks in Romania. Tourists gather from every corner of the world to experience a guided tour of this majestic castle, which is famed to have belonged to Vlad the Impaler, the alleged inspiration for Count Dracula. Both of these names are steeped in mystery and myth, and you will delight in exploring the origin of both.

Next on this fantastic day trip, you will be treated with a walk along Pestera Village, which is one of the most beautiful authentic mountain villages in Romania.The simplicity of this place and the stunning views will leave you breathless.

This will be an easy 3 to 4 km trail, 100-200 m elevation height, total 1 to 2 hours hike on wide pats with no exposure or dangerous cliffs ( at request we can make the hike shorter or longer, or just seat for lunch on a local restaurant ) This trip is suitable to families or any other groups of people that can walk slowly on various terrain for 2 hours.
Mandatory gear:
Light hiking shoes, clothes that suits the outside weather and rain coat.
