At around 8 AM your guide will pick you up from your location in Brasov and transfer to the starting point at Dambu Morii. Start hiking and after about 1 hour you will reach the Seven Ladders Canyon, carved by the Sipoaia stream in Jurassic limestone. You will go right through it on the special trail built with metal and consisting of seven ladders and multiple bridges. After exiting the canyon, you will continue your hike up to the Piatra Mare hut, at 1630 meters. After a short break, begin climbing to the peak, at 1844m. From the top, you will have fantastic views over Brasov area and the surrounding mountains: Bucegi, Piatra Craiului, Baiului, Postavaru, Ciucas.
Depending on weather conditions and fitness level of the participants, you have several routes on the way down. One of them leads back to the hut where you can have a well deserved lunch. Continue down to base, get in the car and get back to your location in Brasov.
