Meet your experienced guide at your Suzhou downtown hotel and transfer you to the train station to board the quick 30-minute train to Shanghai. On the way, feel free to talk with your guide about any particular interest you have, so the commentary and itinerary can be customized.

Stop 2

Your tour begins with Yu Garden, which is considered as the paragon of the south Chinese landscaping style of the Ming & Qing dynasties, it's a MUST for visitors to Shanghai. Yu Garden demonstrates perfectly the sophisticated art of combining several different elements to create a world in miniature - ingeniously mingling pavilions and corridors, small hills and carefully selected and well-placed rocks, lotus ponds, ancient bridges, winding paths and trees. Near Yu Garden, there is a Shanghai Bazaar, which is a local market, is a rising tourist and shopping center. It's seemed with a great number of ancient streets and lanes where vendors sell their products and food stuffs to both tourists and local people.

Later, go for Shanghai Jade Buddha Temple. Jade Buddha Temple is worth visiting for spiritual experience. It's a Song-dynasty-style architecture with precise complex and harmonius structure. You'll see the Hall of Heavenly Kings, Daxiong Grand Hall and Jade Buddha Chamber in this temple, it's still a working monastery, replete with monks who reside, pry, study and conduct religious ceremonies on holy occasions. Continue your tour to Old French Concession. If you want to see the city's best profile, the Old Frech Concesson is the best. The last stop for the tour is Tian Zi Fang. It has become an amazing cluster of the trendy and cultural spots. It is an arts and crafts enclave that has developed from a renovated residential area in the French Concession area of Shanghai, China. It comprises a neighborhood of labyrinthine alleyways off Taikang Road, and also referred to as Taikang Road or Taikang Lu. Tianzifang is known for small craft stores, coffee shops, trendy art studios and narrow alleys.
