This is a short experience if you want to put one more country on your list. Just one hour and 15 minutes from Podgorica, there is a Shkoder town in Albania with rich history. We are going to walk on a narrow pedestrian streets and visiting Rozafa castle, a famous widespread legend about sacrificing a female victim. Optional we are offering visiting hand work fabric of Venetian masks, very unique experience when you travel in Albania. On a return back we will go for a coffee in one resort near Skadar lake, that you can check Albanian side of lake.

This is for sure the closest town from Podgorica which is in Albania and our history were connected during a centuries. Shkodër, also known as Shkodra, is a city in northwestern Albania. It is one of the oldest and most historic cities in Albania, and it is known for its rich cultural heritage and stunning natural scenery. Some of the top attractions in Shkodër include the Rozafa Castle. On this tour we are going to explore a little bit fortress and main streets.
A famous widespread legend about sacrificing a female victim and immurement with the aim of building a facility is traditionally orally transmitted by Albanians and connected with the construction of the Rozafa Castle. Similar legend there is also in Montenegrin legends , thi telling how much these regions were connected in the past.
Visiting beautiful resort on Albanian side of lake Skadar. This part of lake is different than in Montenegro it is more flat with a lot of places for swimming. Very nice atmosphere and great restaurant we going to visit while we enjoying in beautiful view on Montenegrin mountains.
