About this experience

This is a short tour near Podgorica great to meet our history, culture and tradition. We will visit one of the most beautiful view point on Skadar lake National Park , Pavlova strana from where lake looks like fjord. Let's enjoy tasting organic wines in a great atmosphere . We will learn traditional way of making wine and liqueurs and this family really have the experience since they have a lot of golden medals.

Skadar Lake region is well known for its beautiful parts of nature, as well as numerous historical, religious, and ethnological objects that can be discovered on its shores or hidden islands. Rich flora and fauna count around 281 species of birds, 48 species of fish, 50 species of mammalian. The most important for us is that this region is also well known for the best wine in the country. Probably reflexion Sun in the lake and a lot of sunny days make grappe tasty and sweet. We have choose one boutique family winery for you. They traditionally grow grapes and produce wine, brandy, and liqueurs, through generations. You will have opportunity to hear interesting history of this family and way of making wine . We will try 6 sorts of premium wine

On the way to Skadar lake there is one place Barutana where we will see monument after || World War. This monuments which are made in Communism period are very interesting full of symbolism, art and spirituality. Here will explore additional Yugoslav-era historical, cultural and memorial sites in and around the greater Barutana area, so this can be really interesting cultural and historical tour. This are some forgotten paths from our past and even this monument is very near from the main road is totally cowered by threes and lets oblivion.
