You will start your day with a visit to the charmingly colourful Pena Palace and Park, considered today one of the world's major expressions of 19th-century romanticism. We'll then guide you through the amazing terraces, architecture and history of Pena Palace. For us, the most beautiful is the outdoors, but you will have free time to visit the interior of the palace if you wish.
Around lunchtime, we will stop at the Sintra Historical Centre, close to the medieval Sintra Royal Town Palace. Here you'll find the famous local pastry - Travesseiros. You can't skip it! You’ll have free time to explore and eat a quick snack or lunch.
We'll then make our way to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe, driving by Sintra / Cascais Nature Park. You'll have free time to explore and admire the stunning views over the Atlantic.
We'll drive along the "Lisbon Riviera" and stop at the charming Guincho Beach, a paradise for surfers and windsurfers.
The "cherry on top" is the drive along the "Lisbon Riviera," stopping at Cascais Fortress, from which you'll have a panoramic view of the famous Cascais Bay.
