Located near the southeastern hills that surround the Valley, there are two rivers that come together at Panauti. According to Hindu holy men, there is a third underground river that comes to join the other two rivers, with connections to the Sacred Ganges River in India. You can also visit a beautiful museum in panauti where you can see many old items like musical instruments, utensils, and arts used by ancient Newari people.
