With an easy start for our cruise guests from Langelinie Pier and Ocean Quay, this is undisputedly our most popular guided tour of the City. The fun and eco-friendly Segway allows you to cover much more than if you were walking, and you can get up close to monuments where cars are not allowed. We will take a small break in a 'hyggelig' cafe in the Royal Danish Theatre. At the end of your tour you'll receive a Segway Souvenir and an organic complimentary refreshment.

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to tour start for check-in & training. Here you will receive your helmet, radio, sign our waiver of liability and meet your guide. You will then receive individual instructions in how to ride a Segway on our spacious training ground right behind our store. Don't worry if you haven't tried it before - it's super easy and we begin the tour in a car-free zone
Welcome to our training ground and one of the hidden gems of Copenhagen - hmm guess we just revealed a secret :)
After 5 minutes we will already see the famous lady of Copenhagen: The Little Mermaid. Our first major sight and there's of course a photo stop whilst your guide will explain the interesting story behind her, and it's not all a fairytale!
As we cruise in a great car-free zone we will also pass Holmen on the other side of the water - you will learn about many of the maritime monuments and some fun stories. Please note though that you will be able to see all the sights but we will not go cross the water onto Holmen
We will drive right through the Langelinie Park
The Amalie Garden is a cute little garden in front of the Royal Palace
The old customs area is the perfect waterfront spot to show and tell you a lot about the maritime stories. You will also see the Royal Pavillons where the Queen departs from on her sailing trips along with the Maersk Headquarters
The Royal Cast collections has two unique statues outside which we will pass - one you can't miss
We will drive right around the Royal Play House - a fairly new company in Copenhagen with an eco-friendly approach
Nyhavn is the most iconic place in Copenhagen with its colourful and old buildings. You will really feel the atmosphere of Copenhagen whilst cruising through Nyhavn, and we will also show you where a few famous Danes have/are living. There is of course a photo stop included at Nyhavn.
As we embark into the inner city of Copenhagen you will see the inner harbour bridge a.k.a. the kissing bridge which was made just for pedestrians and cyclists
The Royal Opera House in Copenhagen is a beautiful building you can't miss. Your guide will tell you about the Opera House and we'll make a photo stop at Ofelia Square where you of course can get a great picture with the water and Opera House in the background. Quite picturesque. Please note that we will not cross the water to go to the Opera House
By this time you will have already seen so much of Copenhagen whilst cruising through the city in a no-car zone. At Ofelia Plads you will get a great photo opportunity with the Royal Opera House in the background before we continue to the Royal Playhouse
We will pass right through our impressive Parliament located inside Christiansborg Palace. There will of course be a photo stop in front of the main staircase if you wish.
We will pass the Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek as we drive in towards the cosy backstreets
Our Saviours Church is recognisable with its spiral staircase on the top. We will see this building on Christianshavn as we cruise down Havnegade - please note that we will not drive over to the church.
After Nyhavn we continue into towards the inner city where we will see much more including The Old Custom House, The National Bank, The Black Diamond, and much more
We will cruise through the 'hyggelig' and charming streets of Copenhagen in the Latin Quarter
Nikolaj Art Exhibition is an old church we will pass as we head towards Kings New Square
City Hall Square, Tivoli, The New Carlsberg Glyptotek are great monuments which we will cruise by
'Kongens Nytorv' = The King's New Square is considered the midpoint of Copenhagen
Frederik's Church (The Marble Church) is a beautiful monument you'll see right before we head towards the Royal Palace. If you want a photo stop please just let your guide know
After our cafe stop we continue down the artsy Bredgade towards the Queen's Residence at Amalienborg Palace. We will drive right up onto the square and wave to her Majesty. We will of course also do a photo stop here in front of the impressive buildings.
When we reach the Royal Danish Theatre on Kongens Nytorv, we will make a short cafe stop at the cafe inside the Theatre. Here we have some special prices exclusively to our Segway cruisers. You can sample some great organic beverages or cakes, if you wish (no purchase necessary).
You will be able to see the many amusements as you pass by Tivoli Gardens. Please note that we will not enter the park
The Gefion Fountain and Gefion Bridge is a beautiful square and once the water is running we know it's a sign of summertime in Copenhagen!
The English Church in Copenhagen is a cute landmark hidden away in the Churchill park
The Citadel is such a unique landmark in Copenhagen - the fortress from the 1600's is still an active military site and we will cruise right through it
Your tour will now have ended and we are back at the Segway Cruise Copenhagen store. You will hand in your helmet & radio. You are more than welcome to join your guide for a complimentary organic beverage and we have a fun Segway souvenir for you. Many guests stay and enjoy the waterfront view - and you are very welcome to do so as well.
If your ships dock by LANGELINIE Pier - good news - we are right at your doorstep. As you disembark your ship, you will see a line of shops. We are the shop on the ground floor level next to Marina Lounge.
If your ship docks at OCEAN QUAY: We are a 10 min taxi ride away.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure time for check-in & training. It is important you are on time as we do not start a new training demonstration for latecomers - this will delay our tour start time and other guests on the tour. So please ensure you are on time for training nd check-in.
Wear flat shoes and dress according to weather conditions - please pass this on to your entire group.
