Located in the historical heart of Sintra, this is the best preserved medieval royal residence in Portugal, being inhabited more or less continuously from at least the 15th century to the late 19th century.

A magical place where dreams come true. Built on the 19th century, the Palace is a unique example of Romantic architecture. It was designed by José Luiz Monteiro. The decoration, a simultaneous source of diverse artistic styles, bears the signatures of Leandro Braga, portuguese master carver, and the eclectic Italian artist Luigi Manini.
