Portugal is a route of temples, cults and religious festivals, where we can walk full of faith or a more universal root spirituality, whether in search of the sacred or ourselves. Fatima is considered one of the largest Catholic pilgrimage centers in the world, which attracts an average of 6 million people annually, either to pay a promise or out of curiosity.

Take your time in this amazingly peaceful and sacred place to visit Valinhos, where the Virgin appeared and Loca do Anjo, the place that marks the Angel's apparition for the 1st and 3rd time. We will also walk up to the Hungarian Calvary while going through some of the Cross Station's.
We start our day by visitting the Little Sheppard's Houses and the place where the Angel appeared for the second time.
House of the Three Shepherds - It was in the small village of Aljustrel, located about 2 kms from the Fatima sanctuary, that the three seers of Fatima were born - Lucia and her cousins Francisco and Jacinta who shared her herding duties. Very similar in design and simplicity, the single-storey houses that the little shepherds lived in can be visited. The house where the brothers Jacinta and Francisco lived was built in 1888 and is about 200 meters from the house of their cousin Lucia, dating from 1885.
The chapel of the Apparitions is the "heart" of the Shrine of Fatima. It was in this exact place of the Chapel that our Lady talked to the little shepherds.
From May to October there will always be an English official Mass at the Sanctuary at 3.30 PM
The Church of the Most Holy Trinity was dedicated on October 12, 2007, by Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone, then Secretary of State of the Vatican and legate of Benedict XVI for the conclusion of the 90th Anniversary of the Apparitions of Our Lady to the three little shepherds.
Don't forget to visit this amazing basilica which holds the tombs of the 3 Little Sheappards.
