Detailed itinerary

1

Tucked away in Baku's ancient, atmospheric Icheri Sheher, a cozy restaurant welcomes with the soulful strains of live folk music and a delicious spread of national fare. Dinner will consist of:

1. Azerbaijan national saj. (One dish which is always served in a special pan is saj.)

2 Special salad

End on a sweet note with Baku baklava and tea, after which we will hit the road to the Baku Mountain, the first official stop to our tour.

2
Stop 2

Our last stop is one of the most important and unique building of modern generation, a true masterpiece – The Heydar Aliev center. Zaha Hadid did an immense job into creating a magnificent piece of art that this building is, just to then win the international competition "The Best Architectural Design on the Planet". The guides will walk your around this beautiful center and the park situated around it, not only telling you the stories about the place itself but also talking about the person who this beautiful construction was named after - Heydar Aliyev.

3

Emerging from the park's greenery, the iconic Government House, a product of nearly 16 years of construction during Soviet Azerbaijan, captivates everyone with its imposing Stalinist architecture. A landmark of a bygone era, it continues to be a subject of both admiration and historical scrutiny.

4

Night Baku seems to be completely different from what we see during day time, with dim lights and calm atmosphere. As we reach Baku Boulevard, we are completely swiped in the beauty of night sky and dim lights peeking through the greenery of the boulevard.
Considering Boulevard stretches out for 16 kilometers, we are not able to explore all of it in such a short period of time, therefore the most time will be spent in the area of Mini Venice. It is a complex that resembles an Italian city, Venice. On the tour you’ll be taken along multiple water canals, banks and told stories about the history of Baku Boulevard and stories about other buildings nearby.

5

The main park of the capital – the upland park is situated on top of the whole city, opening a gorgeous overview to all of Baku, the beauty of the city evident to everyone. Especially, the upland park is charming in the evening, when the whole capital seems to be shining with lights. You with your professional English speaking guide will take on the walk around the park while they explain to you history, cultural significance and variety of stories this place carries.

After this we safely return our guests home to get rest after this eventful and interesting evening.
