Detailed itinerary

1

In the morning you will be picked up by one of our minivans from all over mainland Malta (pickup is from your accommodation or the closest designated pick-up location).

Crossing to and from the island of Gozo is done by one of our private boats, exclusively reserved for our clients; if this is not possible due to poor weather or sea conditions, or other operational reasons, the crossing will be done by the communal Gozo Channel Ferry (ferry tickets are also included).

2

Upon arriving at Mġarr Harbour, Gozo’s main port, you will receive a quick orientation session along with a health and safety briefing. Then, you'll hop onto one of our quad bikes and set off on an unforgettable adventure around the stunning island of Gozo.

3

Ta' Ċenċ Cliffs (Sannat) are located on the southwestern coast of Gozo, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea. These dramatic cliffs rise steeply from the shoreline, making them one of the most spectacular natural landmarks on the island. The area is a popular spot for hiking, photography, and appreciating the stunning beauty of Gozo's rugged coastline.

4

Xlendi is one of the most charming and well-known locations in Gozo. It is a delightful coastal town with a gorgeous small bay surrounded by picturesque cliffs.

5

Constructed in the 16th century by the Knights of St. John, these well-preserved public washhouses are carved into a cliff near a natural spring. Featuring a simple irrigation system, they continue to provide clean water and are used by locals for laundry to this day.

6

Situated on the western shore of the island of Gozo, this area is a geological and ecological haven. All the various surroundings are a blend of geology, landscape, fauna, habitats, shorelines, seascapes, archaeology, flora, and history, which makes a visit to this site an experience to remember.

7

Dwejra Bay is also known for its Inland Sea, a small bay surrounded by high cliffs and connected by an impressive 65-meter-long natural tunnel that opens out into the open sea, a truly fascinating natural formation that evokes awe and leaves a striking impression.

Weather permitting, you will have the opportunity to take a short boat trip through the narrow tunnel and its surrounding area. This boat trip is available at a small fee payable on location (the boat trip is not included in your package price).

8

Heading west on the outskirts of the village of Għarb, we stop at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Blessed Virgin of Ta’ Pinu, commonly referred to as “Il-Knisja tal-Mirakli” (The Miracle Church) or simply as “Ta’ Pinu.". This spectacular basilica is one of Gozo’s most iconic landmarks. Though the building, its interior, and its surroundings are truly beautiful, it is the stories surrounding the church that are the most fascinating.

Within the shrine, you will find walls covered in letters, crutches, damaged helmets, etc. that were offered as testimony by people who believed to have been blessed with a miracle by the grace of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Ta’ Pinu.

9

Għasri Valley, located in the village of Għasri, is one of Gozo’s most picturesque and tranquil spots. The valley is characterized by its lush greenery, steep cliffs, and winding paths that lead to the serene Għasri Salt Pans. It's an ideal location for nature lovers and hikers, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The valley also provides a glimpse of traditional rural life on Gozo, with terraced fields and local flora enhancing the beauty of the landscape.

10

Heading north, we will enjoy a scenic route through the countryside that will take us to the Xwejni Salt Pans along the northern coast of the island.

The salt pans are a transfixing landmark of vital importance, upholding an ancient trade and skill while harvesting one of Gozo’s important natural raw materials. Xwejni’s salt pans chequerboard pattern and shimmering mirrored reflective pools are always a dynamic sight to behold. Spanning several kilometres across Gozo’s northern coast, today they are divided between 3 salt farmers.

Salt mining has been a tradition in Malta for centuries, and here you will find large clusters of salt pans. Hewn in the rocky coastline, these pans collect sea water during the colder and windier months of the year. While the water evaporates in the heat of the sun, the salt remains in these pans and is harvested by hand. The harvesting season stretches from April to August, with people hard at work twice weekly.

11

Qbajjar Bay Beach is a hidden gem located in the charming village of Żebbuġ. This captivating beach is known for its crystal-clear waters that shimmer under the Mediterranean sun, making it an ideal spot for swimming, sunbathing, or simply unwinding by the shore. The beach is surrounded by rugged cliffs and lush greenery, creating a picturesque backdrop for visitors.

12

Marsalforn Bay is a small bay in the north of Gozo, very popular for its many seaside restaurants and gorgeous views.

13

At the end of the quad bike tour, if weather and sea conditions are suitable, you will board one of our private boats. The boat will take you on a mini cruise around the island of Comino, passing by the amazing Blue Lagoon known for its stunning crystal-clear cyan waters, the gorgeous Crystal Lagoon, one of the most picturesque and sheltered lagoons found in the entire archipelago, and the captivating Comino Sea Caves.

14

The Blue Lagoon in Comino is a stunning, crystal-clear bay famous for its vibrant turquoise waters and breathtaking scenery. Surrounded by rugged cliffs, this idyllic spot offers a perfect escape for swimming, snorkelling, and relaxation in a serene, natural setting.

A swim stop at either the Blue Lagoon or one of the other lagoons in Comino is included during high season (usually from April till October); do not forget to bring your swimwear.

If adverse weather or sea conditions prevent us from stopping at Comino, the swim stop will be done at a bay in Gozo. Any swim stops, whether on Comino or in Gozo, are always subject to weather conditions.

15

The Crystal Lagoon is a perfect spot for divers and snorkelers. With mesmerising turquoise waters surrounded by imposing cliffs and stunning 360-degree views, it is one of the nicest and most sheltered lagoons found in the entire archipelago.

16

The Santa Maria Caves in Comino are a series of picturesque sea caves known for their crystal-clear waters and stunning natural formations. Accessible by boat, they offer a peaceful and unique spot for exploration, surrounded by the island's rugged beauty.
