We start our journey at our base with introductory remarks about the destination and an overview of the itinerary before we set off with a drive through Selmun, an area in Mellieha.
We continue our drive, passing by Imġiebaħ Bay.
We proceed towards Fort Campbell, a former British fortress, where we will stop for approximately 20–30 minutes.
We proceed with our drive through Manikata, an area in Mellieħa, and stop at the Popeye Village Viewport, where insights on the west and east coastal areas and the Popeye Village film set will be provided. This is also a great opportunity for some memorable photos.
We continue our drive, passing by the beautiful Mellieħa Bay.
We drive to Saint Agatha's Tower, also known as the Red Tower, a large bastioned watchtower built between 1647 and 1649. Here you will stop for approximately 20–30 minutes, and insights about the Red Tower will be provided. This is also a great opportunity for some memorable photos.
We continue our drive, passing by White Tower Bay.
After our visit to the Red Tower, we resume our drive en route to Armier Bay, where you will also have some free time for a refreshing dip (the swim stop is generally done during the summer season and is always subject to weather conditions).
We continue with our drive en route to the Chapel of Immaculate Conception, a charming, tiny chapel modestly perched in a promontory in Mellieħa. It features an intricate small altar and views over the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean Sea.
The chapel might not be open, and it is not always possible to visit from the inside.
We continue our journey with a drive through Mellieħa Village Square before heading back to our base, where your transport will be waiting for you to take you back to your original pick-up location.
