First of all, the tour guide will pick you up at your hotel and he will take you to the comuna 13 to the famous graffities. Along this trip the bilingual local guide will talk to you about metro system, its history and how commuting in Medellín is.

Once there, you will walk along the brick made houses and San Javier neighborhood, understanding the war that terrified its families due to narcotraffic and guerrillas and how this, combined with poverty, made it one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in Latin America in the past.

As the tour gets immersed in the graffiti area, you will get to listen to the history on how a kind of art which started like action of vandalism, even punished with jail, grew into the most iconic features of this comuna.
