This full-day adventure will start early. Our expert guide will pick you up at your hotel in Leticia and take you to a local community and reserve, where the tour will take place.
You and your guide will walk through the forest to observe and learn about the various bird species of the region. You’ll have a breakfast stop before continuing your birdwatching adventure—and who knows, you might encounter other wildlife along the way.
As you explore the forest, you’ll reach Maloka Cuchira, a community where you’ll have lunch and can also take a refreshing dip in the river if you wish. After lunch and a short rest, the tour will conclude with a brief talk about birds and the community’s ancestral traditions.
Once the tour finishes you will walk back again to the first stop and from there the guide will take you to the hotel.
