This full-day adventure will start early. Our expert guide will pick you up at your hotel in Leticia and take you to a local community and reserve, where the tour will take place.
You and your guide will walk through the forest to observe and learn about the various species in the region, including frogs, monkeys, birds, and much more. You’ll reach the Takana River, where you’ll have the chance to cool off with a refreshing swim—and who knows, you may encounter more wildlife along the way.
Next, you’ll head to Maloka Cuchira, a local community, where you’ll enjoy a traditional lunch followed by a short rest. At the end of the day, you’ll take part in a fascinating talk about the community’s ancestral traditions and sacred plants, learning about their deep connection to nature.
Once the tour finishes you will walk back again to the first stop and from there the guide will take you to the hotel.
