Nagarkot Sunrise and day hike to Bhaktapur is cultural hike to see two UNESCO World Heritage sites in the Kathmandu valley.
Start early to drive to Nagarkot, 2nd highest point in the kathmandu valley to see the sunrise over the himalayas ( weather permitted). After sunrise, breakfast over the mountains and we will start our hike to bhaktapur via Changu narayan temple, another UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The hike itself is 4 hours in itself however if you want, we can make it shorter. The cultural hike passes through the villages, forests before reaching Changu Narayan temple where we can have a lunch.
End your day either by spending overnight in Bhaktapur or go back to Kathmandu.

Nagarkot Sunrise is definately one of the highlight of this trip and generally in Autumn and winter we will treated with the great views of the Himalayas. After Sunrise, we will treat with the breakfast in the open terraced with the great views of the mountains.
The hike will end at Changu Narayan temple, UNESCO World Heritage Site which will be around 4 hours in total, 15 km from Nagarkot.
Generally at the end of this trip, we will drop our guest at Bhaktapur in local bus, 30 minutes only one bus to bhaktapur. If guests they prefer to stay overnight, it is definately one of the beautiful place to stop by. Bhaktapur is a cultural town, UNESCO World Heritage Site which is well knowned for the finest woodcarving and the famous yogurt.
