Detailed itinerary

1

Andoke Foundation is a peri-urban project created for environmental education and experimentation purposes. Located just 20 minutes from the center of Cali city, in its first mountains to the west, Andoke represents an unusual, attractive and educational experience for all visitors.

People in Andoke ensure that your steps have a minimal impact where you travel, by knowing your environment. They care about orientating all those interested in learning in this way, seeking consistency between environmental discourse and people actions.

The Foundation developed a Program of Education and Environmental Living for the Preservation and Coexistence in Harmony with Natural Resources, through the creation of a space in which visitors can learn about the conservation of the ecosystem.

The center has a wooded garden, integrated with a 300 square meters space covered by multi-shade mesh, which houses more than 15 native species of butterflies with all their host plants and other environmental needs. There's is also a big map that represents Colombia and where you can see all the geographical regions, its hydrography, major cities, fauna, and flora.

In the rural area of Cali, you will enjoy the beautiful landscape, feel the wind that comes down from the mountains and listen to the birds singing. Andoke has guided tours to the center (according to the schedule), delicious food from Valle del Cauca, beautiful details to take home as well as volunteering options for you!
