Once at the top we contemplate an extraordinary view of the Valle del Cauca and the Farallones of Cali, you will feel peace with yourself and you will discover yourself step by step while you breathe fresh and pure air from the Pacific that conquers the mountain and glides between the clouds, stones and dense vegetation.

Pico de Loro is located within the Farallones National Natural Park of Cali, in this park inhabit more than 540 species of birds along with species in danger of extinction unique in Colombia and the world. Here, more than 30 rivers that supply the south west of Colombia are also born. Without a doubt, a privileged place that invites you to reconciliation with nature.

The length of the walk is 4.5 km one way (9 km in total) and the terrain can be muddy and slippery. You will ascend from 1,600 m. up to 2,860 m.
In a small briefcase, carry: Extra clothes, aquas-hoes or water shoes, small towel, flip flops, rain poncho or waterproof jacket, plastic bag, hat, sunscreen, mosquito repellent and bottle of water.
Carry identification document: PA, CC, CE, TI or RC.
Wear sneakers with good grip or hiking boots.
Cool sportswear: Long-sleeved shirt and pants.
Hiking and camelback poles (optional).
You must be in good physical condition, not suffering from pain in the knees, back or hips. You should also not have recent osteoarticular injuries, or heart problems that prevent you from performing intense cardio activities.
