We are going to pick you up at the hotel located in the historic centre of Arequipa. Our transportation will take the road towards Yura, and bordering the Volcano Chachani, we are going to reach the ghost town of Pampa de Arrieros. This place was the gateway for travelers arriving by train to the white city.

We will make a short stop at the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve, an impressive place rich in fauna, such as vicunas, guanacos and llamas. Also, you will admire amazing landscapes surrounded by volcanos.

After enjoying a snack, and taking the road Arequipa Puno we are going to reach the Stone Forest of Imata, located in the district of San Antonio de Chuca, in the province of Cayllona, at 4,300 meters above sea level. From this point, the walking tour begins through this fantastic forest which houses rock formations of volcanic material, creating an incredible panorama of abstract art.

The walk continues to visit the Pillones waterfalls. This tourist attraction is located at 4,600 meters above sea level, and here, we are going to watch Andean birds as swallow and different kinds of ducks. You can explore this place, reaching the lower area where the rocks are, and takes photos with impressive views.

At the end, we are going to back to the walking starting point, and take the tourist transport to return to the city, On the way, we will stop for lunch (optional). Then, we will drop you off at the hotel.
