About this experience

Our tour can begin by picking you up from the airport and transferring you to your hotel or the other way around by picking you up from your hotel and transferring you to the airport at the end of the tour. Please note that the airport transfers, arrival or departure must be on the same day of the tour.

As it is a private tour you can choose the starting time and customize the visits to your comfort. If you need to finish the tour before, there is no problem, there is no rush if you want or need to make the visits slowly.

Our private transportation will take us to Yanahuara and then we will return to the center of Arequipa which is a world cultural heritage, and we will take a walking tour, exploring and discovering the colonial past of Arequipa and its current culture.

You can visit the square and the viewpoint of this traditional neighborhood, from where you can see the volcanoes that surround the city. We will also observe the colonial church built with volcanic stone and the guide will explain why this area is considered one of the most romantic in Arequipa.

Mundo Alpaca Arequipa represents a great cultural and touristic contribution to the White City -world capital of Alpaca- that seeks to expose and bring to the world our millenary cultural wealth, allowing its visitors to appreciate and "live" the Alpaca experience, interacting directly with these animals in a beautiful natural environment. In addition, they will be able to see live the ancestral technique of manual classification of the fiber, as well as the exhibition of the extraordinary traditional process of the backstrap loom.
We will also observe, touch and learn more about the vicuña fiber, which is considered the finest in the world.

It is one of the most important historical monuments in Arequipa, dating back to 1677 and has beautiful colonial architecture, notable for its beautiful columns with high-relief details.

We enter the Mario Vargas LLosa regional library (Nobel Prize winner for literature), a building of republican architecture and living culture

Place of foundation of the city located in the historic center of Arequipa, which is considered a cultural heritage site of the world. Plaza de armas is surrounded by the cathedral and the stone portals that show us the passage from the colony to the republican era. We will go up to the portals viewpoint from where we will observe the square surrounded by the impressive Misti, Chachani and Pichu Pichu volcanoes.

Through San Francisco Street we will access the square of the same name, which is the second most important in the historic center (after the Plaza de Armas) both for its beauty and its historical relevance.

We will walk through the oldest streets of the city located in the traditional neighborhood of San Lázaro, currently a recreation and rest area for national and foreign tourists.
