About this experience

Your travel with us offers more interesting activities; In yogyakarta we explore Borobudur temple's intricate structure until the peak, enjoy sunrise over Borobudur from Puthuk Setumbu hill, and explore Prambanan temple.

In bromo we will have 3 epic sunrise viewpoints: the usual Bromo sunrise viewpoint, the other hidden peaceful (non-touristic) sunrise viewpoints which offer stunning views of Mt Bromo’s crater. It's perfect for you craving a little something different in Bromo.

Do the tiered-tumpaksewu waterfall trek in the morning, enjoy seeing the breathtaking view from both the upper-view point.

In Ijen we will do the crater's blue fire trek (when the gas level is safe) before we drop you off at your hotel in Bali.

Detailed itinerary

1

Day 1
8 am hotel pick up if you do not wish Puthuk setumbu hill sunrise over Borobudur, 3.30 am hotel pick up for Puthuk Setumbu hill sunrise above Borobudur.
Continue with a local breakfast, then explore the intricate Borobudur Temple structure until the peak.

Add on (optional-extra charged): Dhagi hill sunrise with picnic breakfast accompanied by javanese traditional gamelan short performance and story telling and Borobudur village tour after exploring Borobudur. Let us know in advance to check the availability.

AFTERNOON:
Travel to PRAMBANAN and explore the temple-make sure it is not monday the first day we pick you up as Prambanan temple is closed every monday.

Add on (optional-extra charged): Continue with Prambanan sunset dinner+Prambanan Ramayana Ballet Performance-let us know in advance to check the availability.

Day 2:
5 am: Checkout hotel yogyakarta.
Pick up and transfer by our driver to Tugu trainstation yogyakarta.
10.45 am: Arrive in Gubeng trainstation Surabaya and pick up by our Surabaya driver to take you to cemorolawang near Bromo complex, 2*=3*hotel/guesthouse/hostel?mountain lodge check in. Book early as there is only one real good hotel around Bromo whilst many visitors.

Day 3:
3 am: Pick up by our guide/driver at the hotel lobby or knock on your room door. Poceed with jeep for 3 epic Bromo sunrise viewpoint: the usual Bromo sunrise viewpoint and the other hidden peaceful (non touristic) sunrise viewpoints; one needs 45 minutes hike up, the other one needs 1 hour rough (moderate) trek which offer stunning views of Mount Bromo’s crater. It's perfect for you craving a little something different in Bromo.

Afterwards, we will visit the bromo savannah, sea of sand, and if we have the opportunity, we can meet Tengger people-the bromo native.

Back to hotel, breakfast, checkout.
Travel to Lumajang.

Arrive in lumajang, check in hotel.
Rest & Relax for the next morning waterfall trek at around 5.30 am

Day 4:
.5.30 am: Drive to Tumpaksewu waterfall area.
Trek to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall upper-view point for sunrise then below view point. The rainbow fog is beautiful in the morning and creates a serene beautiful atmosphere.

Finish with the waterfall tour, continue travel to Bondowoso (Approx 150km/3 hour driving) near Ijen.

Let us know if you wish to have the waterfall trek earlier than Bromo for you to have the colorful jodipan village tour in Malang city-but lose the opportunity of having the morning waterfall trek with the rainbow fog-but do the trek at around noon instead.

Stop 5

Day 5:
Midnight: hotel checkout to travel to Ijen for blue fire trek to witness the crater's remarkable natural blue fire phenomenon - only when the gas level is safe. Our ijen guide who knows the most updated ijen's gas level will let your driver knows in advance. If the gas level is too high then we go at 3 am for Ijen crater sunrise trek. See the largest acidic crater lake in the world, known for its striking turquoise color. Soak in the breathtaking sunrise views of the crater's rugged landscape.

Finish with ijen crater we travel to Ketapang harbor for crossing with public ferry to Gilimanuk harbor, Bali.
Pick up by our Bali driver and transfer you to your hotel in Bali.
