This tour begins with the transfer from your accommodation to the Laguna de Potosí, a place of calm waters known for its great diversity of birds, located 20 km south of Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo.

At Potosi Lagoon, you will have the opportunity to explore one of the most beautiful bird sanctuaries in the region. This will be done by kayaking through the mangroves, a vital ecosystem for numerous birds and fish.

After finishing the kayak, you will enjoy a delicious breakfast on the picturesque cliffs on the shores of the lagoon.

The next stop will be El Refugio de Potosí, a place where nature and education meet. Here you will have the opportunity to interact and learn about different species in the area, such as green macaws, river otters and tree porcupines.

After the visit to the Potosi Refuge, we will return to Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, where transport will take you back to your accommodation.

You will have the opportunity to observe species such as fish eagles, frigates, fishermen martins, herons and many others.

After finishing the kayak, you will enjoy a delicious breakfast on the picturesque cliffs on the shores of the lagoon.

This is a 7-hectare private non-profit ecological park located in the coastal lowland deciduous forest of the Barra de Potosí region. Here you will have the opportunity to interact and learn about different species in the area, such as green macaws, river otters and tree porcupines.
