About this experience

Follow me on a fully guided 4 hour tour that informs, inspires, amazes and moves you.
Througout the tour we will bike past and to several key locations where I will tell all there is to know about that specific spot. After 30 minutes of biking, we will continue on a one-hour walking tour on the outskirts of Nationaal Monument Kamp Amersfoort. After which you'll be given time to visit the museum with an audio guide.

Next we'll go to the Sovjet Experience (5 min. biking) and spend about one hour, immersing ourselves in the life of soldier Vladimir.

Finally, we head back towards the trainstation with a 30 min. bike ride.

National Monument Kamp Amersfoort is a museum focusing on the 47,000 people who were imprisoned in Kamp Amersfoort during World War II. It was the longest operating concentration camp in the German-occupied Netherlands.

Step into the shoes of a missing soldier.
In our Virtual Reality experience, follow Soviet soldier Vladimir from the moment he says goodbye to his family. Join him as a soldier at the front, as a prisoner of war on the train to Nazi Germany and as a forced labourer in a coal mine deep underground.
