Begin your journey in Zurich as you board a comfortable, modern, air-conditioned Mercedes C220 and travel to Rhine Falls.
The Rhine Falls, located on the High Rhine near the village of Neuhausen am Rheinfall and just below Schaffhausen in northern Switzerland, are a breathtaking natural wonder. The Rhine plunges 23 meters over a width of 150 meters, with a basin depth of 13 meters. On average, 600 cubic meters of water thunder over the falls every second, creating a spectacular display for visitors.
Switzerland Tour warmly invites nature lovers and travelers to marvel at the awe-inspiring beauty of Europe’s largest waterfall. Experience the extraordinary power of nature and witness the incredible forces that have shaped our planet.
The world-famous Rhine Falls is estimated to be around 15,000 years old. This natural masterpiece was formed due to tectonic shifts during the Ice Age, making it a fascinating testament to Earth's geological history.
Munot – Schaffhausen’s landmark, has proudly been overlooking the town for over 400 years. The Munot Fortress was built in the 16th century by the inhabitants of Schaffhausen (enforced labour) and characterises the cityscape to this day. The town's landmark attracts both tourists and locals and hosts open-air movies, children's festivals, dance events and a wide range of other events.
The climb to Munot, the emblem of Schaffhausen, via the stairs in the middle of the vineyards, is a lovely moment. Inside, climb the spiral path (several turns!) and see the entire city and its surroundings from the upper terrace.
Stein am Rhein is full of interesting stories.
The town of Stein am Rhein lies at the point where Lake Constance becomes the River Rhine again. It is famous for its well-preserved Old Town centre, with painted facades and half-timbered houses, for which it received the very first Wakker Prize in 1972. Visitors will find that the culinary delights on offer here are as colourful as the magnificent facades.
After a full day of discovery on the Schaffhausen Region, relax on the return journey to Zurich.
We will send the direct entry ticket via WhatsApp/Email on the day before the tour.
