Stop 1
The tour departs at 8:00 AM or 12:45 PM from Central Palace (39 Nguyen Trung Truc) or from your hotel in District 1. Along the way, enjoy views of the peaceful countryside with rice fields, rivers, ducks, and water buffaloes.
At Cu Chi, walk through parts of the tunnel system, explore underground areas, and learn about the daily life of Vietnamese soldiers during the war. You will also see smokeless stoves used for cooking underground and have the chance to try the simple foods the soldiers once lived on. For those interested, there is an optional opportunity to try shooting an AK-47.
After the visit, return to Ho Chi Minh City. The tour ends at around 3:30 PM or 7:00 PM.
