Phong Nha Cave
This cave, from which the name to the whole system and the park is derived, is famous for its rock formations that have been given names such as the “Lion”, the “Fairy Caves”, the “Royal Court”, and the “Buddha”. This cave is 7729 m long, contains 14 grottos, with a 13,969 m-long underground river. The scientists have surveyed 44.5 km of grottos in this cave so far, but tourists can only penetrate to a distance of 1500 m.
Paradise cave
Thiên Đường “Paradise” Cave is a newly found cave in this area. Prior to the discovery of Sơn Đoòng cave, it was regarded as the largest and longest cave in Phong Nha-Kẻ Bàng. At 31.4 km long, Thiên Đường cave is longer than Phong Nha cave, previously considered the longest cave in this national park. The height can reach to 100 m and 150 wide. The limestone formation is also more spectacular than that of Phong Nha Cave.
08h00: Pick up from your hotels in Dong Hoi City, the one-hour driving on Ho Chi Minh Trail East heading to Phong Nha.
08h45 – 09h00: Our bus and tour guide will pick up at your hotel in Phong Nha; you will explore the most impressive Phong Nha caves. After 25 minutes on boat, visitors will arrive Phong Nha cave, take a couple hours to see the cave. This cave is called as water cave, is famous for its rock formation that has been given names such as the “Lion”, the “Fairy Caves”, the “Royal Court”, and the “Buddha”.
12h30: Lunch at local restaurant before exploring National Park in the afternoon.
13h30 – 16h00: Visit Paradise cave – the Cave was labeled the World’s most beautiful and magnificent. It has the length of 31.4 km and is the longest dry cave in Asia. With naturally primitive features, Paradise Cave looks like a landscape painting, making it very attractive to visitors.
16h30: Back to Phong Nha town. Tour ends!
