We start at 9:00 from Lake Kournas, the only natural freshwater lake in Crete. We take in the serene beauty of the lake, admire the surrounding landscape, and capture the moment with a few photos to keep the memories alive.

Drive through the village of Kournas and follow an off-road route through the Agios Ioannis Azilakas Forest, also known as the famous Azilakas trail.

Stop at the Argyroupoli Springs, famous for their crystal-clear waters, nestled under an ancient plane tree that provides natural shade and coolness – 30 minutes to relax and take photos

Those who cannot walk the trail for health reasons can enjoy swimming at the spot where we stop with our vehicles.

On the way back, stop at Kourtaliotiko Gorge for approximately 15 minutes to take in the breathtaking scenery
