About this experience

Only local guides, driving 7 seater 4wd, full A/C, vehicles , will allow you to explore on really comfortable conditions a part from the mainland of Crete which compatible vehicles, buses or mini buses, can’t offer. In small groups up to 6 guests/vehilcle with lunch, you will have a memorable day.
Early in the morning we visit the 3000-5000 years old olive tree and later at Anoskeli's olive mill and winery the Sommeliers and Wine-Olive Oil producers, as more professional in their sector, will inform you about the wine and olive oil when they serve you.
The adventurous part of the tour is to approach the White Mountains from Sebronas gorge and driving on rough roads.
Have your lunch time at 1200m/4000ft altitude with a magnificent view to Samaria Gorge and the highest summit, named Pachnes (2453m/8048ft).
Heading back to Chania enjoy the view at the Aegean sea from 1000m/3300ft.

Touch the 3000 years old olive tree, which is still productive! Enjoy your coffee time and visit a small typical Cretan farm.

Taste extra virgin and organic extra virgin olive oil. Continue with a winery experience by tasting 5 different labels of local wine, accompanied by Cretan snacks.

Explore a part from the Chania Prefecture area on comfortable, full A/C 4wd vehicles, which compatible vehicles, buses or mini buses, can’t offer. We will cross in driving the Sebronas gorge, approaching the White Mountains from west.

Approach the west part of the White Mountains and enjoy the scenery at Omalos Plateau (1000m/3300ft altitude). The shepherds have their sheep and goats at the plateau all year arround. Take photos at Samaria's National Park entrance, the longest gorge in Europe (16km/10 miles).

Visit the Samaria gorge entrance and enjoy your lunch time at 1200m altitude (4000ft) with a magnificent view at the White Mountains and the highest summit (Pachnes, 2453m, 8048 ft).

Stop 6

Driving downhill we stop at 1000m (3300ft) altitude to enjoy the view from above and take photos. Heading to Chania you will see enough changes in nature's beauty. From the forest with cypress trees , in a short distance we are to the valley with lemon, orange, avocado and olive trees. We will cross in driving the villages, Omalos, Lakki, Fournes and Alikianos.
