You will be picked up from your hotel in Surabaya around 12:00 PM by our professional driver and tour guide. The journey continues to the Mount Bromo area. Upon arrival, you will transfer to a 4WD Jeep and proceed to the sunrise viewpoint, accompanied by our tour guide.
The experience starts at King Kong Hill, one of Mount Bromo’s favorite sunrise viewpoints. Along the route, you’ll find small local stalls offering hot coffee, tea and simple snacks to keep you warm.
Instead of joining the main crowd on the left side, your guide will take you to a quieter area on the right, which provides clearer views and better photo opportunities of Mount Bromo. Shortly after the sunrise are ideal for photography, as mist and clouds slowly move across the Mount Bromolandscape.
After enjoying the sunrise, the journey continues down to the Bromo crater. The jeep will stop about 2 km from the crater area, where you can choose to walk or ride a horse across the Sea of Sand. The walk takes around 45 minutes, followed by a short climb to reach the crater rim.
