The Margaridas Apiculture is located in the Lagoa, on an ancient pasture, which has been reconverted into a forest DE native and meliferous species. Today, the farm is inhabited by the Margarida bees who visit the diverse DE flowers and meliferous species that populate this space. The visitor will wear the skin DE a real beekeeper and be surprised by the bees in their busy daily life. We start with a briefing on the biology of the bees, the safety measures, and we continue to the discovery of the hives. At DAhow the hi is organized, what functions bees perform throughout their lives and who knows... You can even find the Queen!
At the end, the Margarida bees give us a DE taste of honey. They will taste the different types DE honey from the Azores.
