Arriving at Motosuko we will take our time to get ready for our walk before making our way to the lake shore for a view of Fuji and then off and into the woods.
On our way to the summit we will pass a rest stop called Eboshi. It has a great view of Mt. Fuji on all but the most miserable days. It's a good place to quietly have a snack tell some jokes and overlook the view.
Our peak elevation for the day is at Lake Motosuko's panorama dai. The walking last section of walking to here is quiet and peaceful. The view is stunning and there's somewhere to sit and rest when we arrive.
On days when we find ourselves with additional time we often visit this local roadside station. The spot is popular with the locals and is a great place to do some people watching.
Your guide will be wearing a blue jacket and cap.
Please meet your guide next to the retired rail car. It is to the right hand side as you exit the station.
