There is a sacred cave that people used to visit to pray for the goddess of Mt.Fuji before climbing up the mountain.
They believed that the inside of the cave was the inside of the goddess so they started calling the cave as goddess womb cave.
It's about an hour hike one way to the view point and you can enjoy the great view of Mt.Fuji,sea of trees"Jukai"and Lake Saiko at the same time!
