Step aboard a panoramic train to the land of 72 waterfalls. On one of Switzerland’s most stunning rail journeys, you'll see postcard-perfect lakes, rushing alpine rivers, and the landscape transform into high peaks and glacial valleys, all from the comfort of your first-class seat.
Lauterbrunnen is a glacial valley that inspired writers from Goethe to Tolkien. Waterfalls tumble from impossible heights, the air is fresh and cool, and the village itself feels like a step back in time.
We'll walk to the Staubbachfall, the iconic waterfall of Lauterbrunnen, where, if you're up for it, you can hike the short trail that leads behind the cascade to look out over the valley. A perfect location for photos and memories.

From serene lowlands to alpine ridges, the route carries you past stunning lakes and rivers, offering sweeping views from every window.
Nestled between towering cliffs, Lauterbrunnen Valley is one of the most dramatic and picturesque alpine valleys in the world. Known as the land of 72 waterfalls, sheer rock faces rise nearly 300 meters on either side, while waterfalls pour from the cliffs.
The village remains quiet and traditional, a rare gem untouched by time.
Towering above the village, Staubbachfall is Switzerland’s third-highest waterfall, plunging nearly 300 meters from a vertical cliff. The name Staubbach means “dust stream” — a nod to the way the water turns to mist before it reaches the valley floor.
