Arrive at Sukapura Village around 2 AM. Switch to a 4x4 Jeep. Here, you can buy gloves and scarves or rent jackets before continuing a 1-hour drive to Penanjakan Sunrise Point.
Arrive at Penanjakan Sunrise Point around 3 AM. Have a coffee break while awaiting the sunrise till 4 AM. Enjoy the spectacular Bromo sunrise from 4 AM to 6 AM.
After watching the sunrise, return to the jeep and continue the drive for about 30 minutes to the Bromo crater area. You will arrive at around 6:30 AM. Enjoy breakfast at a local food stall with beautiful views of Mount Batok and Mount Bromo. You can upgrade your breakfast to a picnic-style meal for a more special experience, with a small extra charge. After breakfast, start your walk to the top of Bromo crater. This activity takes around 1.5 to 2 hours.
After exploring the crater, return to the jeep and continue the trip to the Whispering Sands area. The drive takes about 10 minutes. Enjoy the wide sand area and feel the excitement of the off-road journey.
From Whispering Sands, drive for approximately 20 minutes to the Savanna. Discover the extensive grasslands, the distinctive Teletubbies Hills, and the unique Bromo fennel flowers.
