Just 2.5 hours from Johannesburg, this malaria-free reserve lies within an ancient volcanic crater and overflows with incredible wildlife—from lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo to cheetah, giraffe, zebra, hippo and more than 365 bird species.

Your adventure begins with an early pickup. Travel in comfort in a shared minibus before switching to an open 4×4 safari vehicle for two exhilarating 2.5–3-hour game drives, guided by an expert ranger. Enjoy exceptional wildlife encounters, a relaxing lunch at one of the park’s scenic rest camps (included), and complimentary bottled water throughout the day.

You’ll depart the park around 15:30–16:00, arriving back in Johannesburg before sunset.

Your safari adventure begins with a smooth, climate-controlled transfer from Sun City to Pilanesberg National Park. On arrival, you’ll enjoy exclusive use of an open 4x4 safari vehicle and a dedicated ranger for six full hours of personalised game viewing—split into an early-morning drive and a late-afternoon exploration.

Track the iconic Big Five—lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo—along with zebra, giraffe, cheetah, hyena, hippo, crocodile and more than 300 bird species. Midday brings a relaxing break at one of the park’s scenic rest camps, where you can enjoy a light lunch before heading out again.

Your experience ends inside the reserve, after which you’ll be comfortably transferred back to Sun City. A light lunch is included.
