The route leads through the lively Linzer Gasse to the Salzach River, over the "Staatsbrücke" along the river to Mozart Square. Now being in the Old Town, we visit all the important and famous sights, such as the Old Market Square, University Square, Hofstallgasse, as well as the Cathedral Square and Kapitel Square.
Many of these sights you will recognize from Sound of Music.
Gaining a little height we will hassle-free climb the "Mönchsberg", one of the city's mountains, passing by Hohensalzburg Fortress. On the mountain we will glide to the most beautiful viewpoints: The "Richterhöhe" and the Museum of Modern Art, where the city's 1,000 rooftops lie at our feet. After the mountain, we traverse medieval alleys and cycle along the Salzach River to our final stop and photo finish, Castle Mirabell and it's Gardens, before returning to our starting point.
