Be ready for pickup at 9.00 am at your Salzburg hotel. After a short drive from Salzburg you’ll reach the castle of Fuschl. Capture a picture of the castle of Fuschl with the emerald-green Lake Fuschlsee as its backdrop, before heading on to St. Gilgen with Lake Wolfgang, the next photo stop.
After a photo stop overlooking the lake and St. Gilgen, there are a few more Kodak-moments waiting with the town hall and Mozart's mothers birth place.
Next is the view over the lake to Saint Wolfgang. From that vantage point continue to Hallstatt via Bad Ischl and Bad Goisern.
Having reached Hallstatt and the first highlight of this full-day tour, your private guide will point out the must-sees of Hallstatt to you, which include a beautiful photo spot of Hallstatt, Charnel House (Bone House), Hallstatt Museum, Hallstatt Waterfall "Waldbachstrub", Hallstatt's local residence area and more. From the Obersalzberg you will access the Eagle's Nest with special busses and elevator. You will have 45 minutes at the Eagle's Nest. Take a stroll to the very close summit Kehlstein to overlook the picturesque Bavarian and Austrian Alps.
From November 1st until about May 10th (depends on the snow conditions of the year), the Eagle's Nest direct access road is closed, alternatively, we offer to visit the Rossfeld summit instead. From this vantage point, soak in panoramic views of the stunning Austrian and Bavarian Alps and the nearby Eagle's Nest. Feel free to choose this option also when Eagle's Nest is opened if you prefer a much less crowded, more local site than the Eagle's Nest.
