Detailed itinerary

1

The Old Venetian Harbour of Rethymno is a serene spot where local fishing boats are docked. Passersby can take a leisurely stroll or sit and look out onto the azure water while eating a fresh seafood plate or sipping on a cold drink. It's an excellent scene for a photo shoot.

2

Rethymno's iconic Lighthouse was constructed by the Egyptians in the 1830's during Egypt's short, yet impactful rule over Crete. Today, it is a main feature of Rethymno Town and an ideal spot for fun photo shoots. It's nestled right along the old Venetian Marina, which is lined with local restaurants and cafes.

3

Rimondi Fountain was built in 1626 by Rector A. Rimondi. It is one of the most prominent architectural highlights of Rethymno. It boasts four stone columns and three functioning basins in the forms of lion heads. It's a favorite spot amongst tourists for photo opportunities and a beloved landmark by the locals.

Stop 4

The Old Town of Rethymno is full of rich history, architectural wonderment, imagination, fantasy and streets adorned with floral decor. I will guide you through many of the Old Town's narrow streets and whimsical alleyways, stopping in front of key architectural points of interest for fun and romantic photographs. We will pass by arched doorways, ancient Byzantine Churches, city murals and more.

5

The ancient Venetian Fortezza (Fortress) of Rethymno was built during the 16th Century during the reign and occupation of the Venetians in Crete. It was overtaken by the Ottoman Turks in 1646 and is a beacon of Crete's endured time of occupation and colonization. We will pass by the Venetian Fortezza of Rethymno to take stunning photographs in front of the arched doorway and exterior stone walls with you and your loved ones. We typically will not enter the Fortress, but if you want your photo shoot to be inside of the Fortress, that can be arranged in advance.

6

Just outside of Rethymno's Old Town and minutes away from the Venetian Fortezza, I will guide groups to Rethymno's Seaside where stunning photos can be captured of you and your loved ones with the backdrop of the Aegean Sea.
