Crystal River is home to the only national wildlife refuge in the United States specifically created to protect habitats for Florida’s beloved official marine mammal, the Florida manatee.
Three Sisters Springs is a 57-acre site which includes three second-magnitude springs that serve as a winter refuge for manatees. Over 100 species of birds have also be spotted at the springs including various heron, gallinule, limpkin, mottled duck, osprey, pied-billed grebe, sandhill crane, and much more.
We will meet you at the Paddle Tail Lodge boat docks 5-10 mins before your departure time. There is no need to check-in anywhere. Restrooms are available by the pool for use before/after your tour. Call 352-586-5210 or 419-305-7044 if you're having any trouble locating us.
