Led by one of our stellar Coast Guard-Certified Master Captains, this tour operates throughout the King's Bay Manatee Refuge, searching for manatees dwelling in their natural habitat. Enjoy your guided tour as your captain tells you about the local area and the captivating manatees that call this area home. Our residential Refuge provides a mixture of a quaint "Old Florida" setting while being the wintertime host of the largest natural aggregation of manatees in the world. Visiting in the summer? No problem! We have a residential population of manatees that call Crystal River home year-round. Please note that this is a true wildlife tour and, although our captain will do eveything poasible to make sure you have a great trip, conditions vary day-to-day and nothing is ever guarenteed with wild animals.
Embark from Pete's Pier, the central hub of Crystal River. Pelicans and Cormorants often call this dock home and if conditions are right, you may even see giant tarpon swimming at the dock waiting for fisherman to feed them.
Your party will cruise King's Bay, the headwaters of the Crystal River! Crystal River is home to a plethora of wildlife, headlined by our resident manatee population that lives in the Bay year-round. In search of manatees, osprey, egrets, herons and all the other wildlife that lives inside our refuge! Your US Coast Guard Certified Captain will lead you in an informative, fun and peaceful journey throughout the waters of King's Bay. He will be sure to show the variety that King's Bay has to offer. Pristine spring-fed residential waters and undeveloped wetlands are the backdrop of your trip through King's Bay. The tour ends where it began, back at Pete's Pier Marina.
We meet our guests at Pete's Pier bait and tackle shop on the main floating dock at Pete's Pier Marina. You will be greeted by your captain and your party will be brought to our boat which is moored nearby.
