On the way to the Salinas Lagoon, we will make a short stop in the picturesque town of Chiguata. Founded in colonial times, this charming place stands out for its traditional architecture and beautiful views of the Misti volcano. Here, tourists will be able to stretch their legs, take pictures and enjoy the tranquility of a town with a lot of history and culture. In addition, the guide will share interesting facts about the historical and cultural importance of Chiguata before continuing with the tour.

We will arrive at salt flats with a stunning view of the some bordered by imposing volcanoes, visit the community of Chilitia, where tourists can enjoy a special moment interacting with adorable llamas and alpacas and have the opportunity to buy local snacks or drinks. Then, we will continue to the Salinas Lagoon for the main activities: taking creative perspective photographs and taking advantage of the mirror effect of the salt flat to capture unique images. A fun experience full of memorable moments!

We will also take hikes in the lagoon to explore, take unique photographs and observe the local fauna, such as the elegant parinas (Andean flamingos). The guide will provide information on the formation of the salt flat, its biodiversity and the importance of the place in the region. A perfect time to connect with nature in its purest form!

In the Lojen Thermal Baths, tourists can enjoy a relaxing swim in mineral-rich waters, ideal for relieving travel fatigue while surrounding themselves with the imposing Andean nature. It is a perfect experience to recharge and continue the adventure.

Just a few steps away, you will find the Lojen Mini Volcano, a fascinating geological formation with small fumaroles and bubbling hot springs, which shows the underground volcanic activity of the area. This unique phenomenon is a must-see point of interest for nature and geology lovers.

Back, we will make a stop in the village of Chiguata to enjoy a delicious lunch in a quiet and welcoming atmosphere. Here, tourists can taste typical dishes of the Andean region, while relaxing and enjoying the panoramic views of the volcanic landscape. A perfect break to recharge before concluding the tour in the city of Arequipa.
