About this experience

Embark on this tour, starting at the Sanctuary of Fátima, one of the largest pilgrimage sites in the world, where Our Lady appeared to the Three Little Shepherds. Then we will go to Valinhos, a haven of peace and spirituality, where the little shepherds witnessed the apparitions and experienced important moments in their history. Next, we will visit the Grutas da Moeda, a fascinating underground world of limestone formations sculpted by nature and discovered in 1971. We will continue to the Mosteiro da Batalha, a Gothic architectural monument built to celebrate Portugal’s victory in the Battle of Aljubarrota, and to the Mosteiro de Alcobaça, the first entirely Gothic building built on Portuguese soil. We will continue to the charming village of Nazaré, famous for its giant waves that challenge the best surfers in the world.
