Pickup included
We will pick you up from your hotel in Arequipa between 6:00 and 6:30 a.m. and head towards the Pillones Waterfalls, located at 4,600 meters above sea level. Along the way, we’ll stop in the towns of Pampa de Arrieros and Patahuasi, where you’ll have time for breakfast on your own.
Around 10:30 a.m. we’ll begin a 30-minute downhill hike through a rocky landscape shaped by centuries of water erosion, until reaching the waterfalls. The path requires caution, but the adventure is worth it. Once there, you’ll have time to take photos, enjoy the scenery, and admire the flora and fauna. The unusual rock formations nearby invite you to get creative with fun pictures that resemble animals, faces, or fantastic creatures.
Afterward, we’ll continue to the Imata Stone Forest, a natural wonder filled with volcanic rock formations. We’ll then stop in the village of Imata for lunch (not included) before returning to Arequipa. Arrival at your hotel is expected around 5:00 p.m.
