Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

We will pick you up from your hotel in Arequipa between 6:00 and 6:30 a.m. and head to Salinas Lagoon, located in the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve. On the way, we will stop in the village of Chiguata to enjoy a continental breakfast. Along the journey, you will admire Andean landscapes with views of the Misti Volcano, the queñuales forest, and herds of llamas and alpacas.

At the lagoon, the scenery changes with the season: when dry, it shines like a white salt desert; when filled with water, you can see salt formations and observe flamingos, unique to this area. We will also explore the surroundings of the Lojen Volcano and natural hot springs.

After free time for lunch, we will return to Arequipa, arriving at your hotel around 4:30 p.m. The tour lasts approximately 10 hours.
